Former Led Zeppelin Vocalist, Robert Plant, arrived a week ago to Costa Rica’s Central Valley.
On December 9th, Internet rock station, 915 posted on Facebook on this past weekend the following image featuring vacation-ready Robert Plant, former lead singer of Led Zeppelin, in tropical swim trunks:

Plant is seen with tica Cinthia Rodríguez where they both appear to be enjoying Costa Rica’s January weather along the beaches of the Pacific Coast.
Passionate fans were hesitant to accept that the image did in fact reveal the Led Zeppelin star to be in the country. Nevertheless, Costa Rican Immigration has confirmed that Plant entered the country on January 4th through the Juan Santamaria International Airport, making him at least the third musical celebrity to pass through those doors following Lindsay Lohan and Selena Gomez’s holiday vacations earlier this year.
About Robert Plant
Robert Plant was the lead singer of Led Zeppelin from 1968 until 1980. His work as a musician, singer and songwriter has earned him worldwide. In 2006, the heavy metal magazine the Hit Parader awarded Plant the title of “Greatest Metal Vocalist of All Time.” The legend’s other awards include:
- “The 15th Best Singer of All Time” by Rolling Stone (2008)
- “Great Voice in Rock” by Planet Rock (2009)
- “Greatest of all Lead Singers” by Rolling Stone (2011)
It is not known where or how long Plant will be in Costa Rica. That said, when he came around the same time last year, Plant stayed for two full weeks, with at least in part of that time spent at the Arenas del Mar Resort in Manuel Antonio. Could it be he’s staying there again in 2016?
