The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Puerto Rican singer, Ricky Martin, will perform at the opening of the XXII Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz 2014 on November 14.
“Martin is greatly honored by the invitation and appreciative of the great affection that Mexico has given him over the 30 years of his artistic career,” said the press office of the singer.
The opening ceremony of the Central American Games will be on November 14 and will be at the stadium Luis “Pirata” Fuente de Veracruz, which has an official capacity of 26,316 spectators.
Veracru is expecting around 5,700 participants from 31 countries competing in 52 disciplines for 36 sports.
Martin, who is promoting his single “Goodbye”, is now engaged as a coach on La Voz Mexico..
After his performance at the opening of the Central American and Caribbean Games, the Puerto Rican singer will move to the Mexican city of San Luis Potosi the next day, November 15, for a concert.
Martin will have additional October performances in the cities of Tijuana, Baja California, Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua state, and Culiacan, Sinaloa state. (EFE)
