PriceSmart reported on its website a warning about possible contamination in a batch of Macaroni brand Kraft, which may have been acquired by Costa Rican consumers.
It is The “Kraft Macaroni & Cheese” 7.25 ounces, with an expiration date “Best when used by SEP 18, 2015 to OCT 11,2015” Batch “C2”.
“PriceSmart has just been reported by Kraft Foods Groups a voluntary recall of the product #211808 Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, because the product may contain metal particles”, cites a web advert posted on the site.
According to the release, the company has not received any complaints at the moment from their partners or has received no reports of adverse effects associated with consumption of this product, however and as a precautionary measure, they provided information to those who have purchased this product.
PriceSmart advised the partner stores and people who may have purchased it to product stop using it immediately and return it to the store where it was purchased to get a full refund.
