El Lobo Estepario presents new talent this October 21sh. Tonight is all about music played by tico Fabian González Rojas.
Fabian González Rojas will take stage tonight from 9pm to 10:30pm, bringing with him only with an acoustic guitar. At only eighteen years old, he will debut tonight at El Lobo Estepario, a Costa Rican bar and venue whose name literally means Steppenwolf. González will be playing songs of different alternative groups. He says some of the songs are known and some others aren’t.
[quote_center]“I’ve never performed live. This really excites me, and I am passionate about the idea of finally being capable to take advantage of the opportunity.’’[/quote_center]
An Undiscovered Talent
While González may be inexperienced in live performance, he’s come a long way since he first began playing the guitar at the young age of 8. He has shared his music at a couple of events at his high school, Colegio Monterrey and hopes a year from now to start performing complete sets of the songs he currently has in process.
Already, González can be found on SoundCloud at this link.
[quote_center]“I wanted to performed since the beginning. Nevertheless I feel the chance comes in the right moment, because now I am mature, and I feel myself musically ready to start performing.”[/quote_center]
His dream, as he explains, is to be able to share his talent and original music with people who can enjoy it. He added that maybe someday he will be performing the Teatro Popular Melico Salazar with sold out the entries — a “midway” goal for him.
