    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) -The chain of cafeterias Hard Rock Cafe and Starbucks will open new franchises in Costa Rica today and in the coming days  .

    Hard Rock Cafe opened its first business in Costa Rica after an investment of $ 3.2 million and promises to live up to the world’s largest cities.

    The third Starbucks will be located on the west side of San Jose, while the Hard Rock Cafe will open its doors as part of the Wyndham San Jose Herradura Hotel in Belen, near the country’s main airport.

    The hotel will have a restaurant for 310 people and a concert area for 800.
    According to Araya, the opening of Hard Rock Café will employ a hundred people, although they received 3,500 job applications.

    The company already has plans to open a second location in the North Pacific area, which is visited mainly by tourists.

    The third cafeteria of Starbucks will employ nearly 100 people in Costa Rica and plans to open a fourth franchise, but has not announced the location. The franchise business will generate this year $ 6 million according to a study by the Chamber of Commerce. ACAN-EFE
