The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The prices of gasoline and diesel at pumps around the country increased by ¢ 9 per liter from midnight June 28th.
The adjustment was approved Tuesday by the Regulatory Authority for Public Services (Aresep), to correct an error in the calculation of marketing margin of gas stations.
Thus a liter of super gasoline clinches ¢ 747 ¢ 738. The Plus will increase from ¢ 698 to ¢ 707 and diesel ¢ 615 to ¢ 624.
The increase in diesel will also have an impact on the bus and taxi service as increase in service charges should be reviewed next month.
