This lowers the price of a liter of super gasoline will decrease from 721 colones ($1.40) to 691 colones ($1.36), while the price of regular gasoline will go from 702 colones ($1.38) to 674 colones ($1.33).
For its part, a liter of diesel will go from 649 colones ($1.28) to 632 colones ($1.25) for a decrease of 2.61%.
ARESEP explained that the decrease in price is due to the fact that the through their routine screening, conducted between last September 26th and October 10th, there was a drop in the international price of oil and its derivatives.
