The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Yesterday President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa said they are considering whether to grant asylum to Edward Snowden, the man who leaked secret U.S. documents and seeks to prosecute him for violating the Espionage Act.
“Rest assured that very responsibly analyze the case Snowden and (…) take with absolute sovereignty create the most appropriate decision,” Correa wrote in his account of the social network Twitter, @ MashiRafael.
He spoke on the topic shortly after I did from Vietnam Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño, who confirmed that Snowden sought asylum Ecuador and also said the case will be studied.
