The Turrialba Volcano erupted again at 1:21pm today, December 7, 2015.
Just when it looked like she might be done for the year, ol’ Turrialba raised her smoky flag once more for about 10 minutes this afternoon.
Mauricio Mora of the University of Costa Rica says they are currently looking into whether today’s eruption of ash and vapor was an isolated event or indicative of a larger explosion soon to come. So far there is no evidence of associated explosions.
