The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – A group of about 25 people demonstrated outside the Embassy of Venezuela against the violence that currently exists in the country.
The protesters were employees of the company CVG National Aluminium (Alunasa), which is headquartered in Esparza and is owned by the Venezuelan government. They are calling for peace in the wave of violence between the government and the opposition.
“We are a group of Costa Rican workers who work for Alunasa CVG, which is an enterprise of the government of Venezuela. While it is true we do not live in Venezuela, we would like to think we have some influence on what happens there,” said José Luis Rosales, head of the company.
They believe that if they had reason to protest against the government, they could make the demonstrations in a peaceful tone, without aggression.
