Costa Rica Surfing master wins Silver.
As expected Costa Rican surfer, Craig “Tequila” Schieber, stepped to the podium at the World Masters Surf and Costa Rica handed a silver medal.
The country reached the finals in the Grand Kahuna with the intention to stop and esperanzando to get the gold medal and repeat the feat achieved years ago.
It was easy since the last heat of competition great surfers arrived U.S., South Africa and France, the world powers surfing.
The gold medal went to South African Chris Knutsen, silver for Craig and the bronze medal went to Allen Sarlo U.S.
Schieber said that get the wave to give him more points did not get it and settle for the silver medal, since for him is as if it were gold.
With this medal Costa Rica has 19 medals in world tournaments, since the first participation in 2006, when the tournament was held in Huntington Beach, California.
