The Costa Rica News (TCRN) -Costa Rica is the third highest rated among 21 countries in Latin America , according to a company developed by Future Brand, the same company who designed the brand “Essential Costa Rica”.
The first places are occupied by Brazil and Argentina. The study is based on interviews with 2,000 frequent travelers for business and pleasure, who do not reside or are native to the countries of the region.
“Costa Rica is one of the nations to observe the future, both for its consistency in the past about being green and sustainable, but also for its momentum to be recognized as a country with a value proposition that optimally integrates tourism, with export promotion and investment attraction,” said Future Brand in the report.
The report, published last October 4th, ranked Costa Rica first in the category “Natural Beauty”, “Environmentally Friendly”, and “Hotels and Resorts”.
“This indicates the focus is strongly supported by the country to be anchored in the sustainable exploitation of the natural beauty through tourism, one of its main sources of income,” says the study by Future Brand.
According to the study, the abolition of the armed forces in 1948 positively impacts the perception people have about the “quality of life” in terms of safety and being one of the best place to live.
Behind Brazil, Argentina and Costa Rica were the following countries: Chile, Peru, Mexico, Uruguay, Panama, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Honduras, Bolivia, El Salvador, Guatemala and Haiti.
