The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Brazilian government donated to the Social Security Fund of Costa Rica a total of 300 bottles of a product used in diagnostic tests for tuberculosis.
The Costa Rican Foreign Ministry expressed its gratitude to Brazil for the donation of the product, which is called tuberculin purified protein derivative (PPD). It was received by the Director of Pharmacoepidemiology at CCSS, Albin Chaves.
The Costa Rican Vice Chancellor, Gioconda Ubeda, highlighted the “timely solidarity and collaboration with the health system of Costa Rica” by Brazil in a newsletter. This donation “is a sign of the excellent relations of brotherhood and cooperation between both countries,” said the diplomat.
