The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The authorities in Costa Rica seized about 400 kilos of cocaine that was transported in a speed boat manned by three Costa Ricans.
The Ministry of Public Security (MSP) said in a statement that the seizure was made in the Golfita, located in the province of Puntarenas, in the south of Costa Rica, thanks to intelligence work of the Drug Control Police (PCD) and the National Service Coast Guard (SNG).
The three prisoners are Ponce Altamirano, Caballero Chavez and Miranda Sanchez, who had no previous criminal record.
The speedboat was equipped with two engines of 175 horsepower each and did not have registration documents, according to official information.
