For just today and tomorrow, Oct. 5/6th, Southwest Airlines is offering a seat sale on flights to the Caribbean and Central America.
This sale applies for select international non-stop flights on any Tuesday or Wednesday during the time frame of Nov. 30-Dec. 13, 2016, and Jan. 10-Mar. 2, 2017. What great timing to get your flights booked to Costa Rica for the upcoming high season (Dec-Mar).
There are a range of flights from Baltimore, Houston, and Los Angeles for example. These are one-way flights at significant savings compared to other airline carriers. Simply buy two one-way tickets, and you are all set to save money and have a great holiday in a stunning location.
If you check out the Southwest website, it shows that these prices include all U.S. and international government taxes and fees. But be aware that seats and days to fly are more limited than usual because of this sale. The fares will of course vary dependent on your destination, flights, and day of the week. The website does caution you that some flights may not be available if they are during those busy holiday or travel times. These fares may be available on other days of the week, but their website again cautions that this is not guaranteed.
Southwest’s website also states that these fares are nonrefundable. But if you cancel your reservation at least 10 minutes prior to departure, you may be eligible to apply this fare towards flights in the future.
So best to be quick, do your research, and take advantage of these savings for your upcoming holiday to Costa Rica.
