U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrived Sunday in Bogota where Monday will meet with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos.
Upon arrival at the military airport in Bogota, Biden was greeted at the airport by the Colombian Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin.
The visit to Colombia is the first stop on a regional tour that will also take him to Brazil, Colombia and the Caribbean and with which the U.S. aims to strengthen economic and trade ties with Latin America.
