The X-Air Show returns to Puntarenas after two years of waiting.

All eyes will be on the skies as the X-Air Show begins next weekend, November 28-29 in Paseo de los Turistas, Puntarenas. The first day will be the practice for the following day’s competition at 10 am.

Organized by RPM TV Xtreme Family Entertainment, a professional production equipment company who provides Costa Rica with some of the best motor events in the region. Some of their other events include The Xnights, Monster Jam, and even WWE.

This year the competition area will start from Parque Marino del Pacífico to the other end of the beach. The zone where people can see the performance for free is going to be bigger than the previous event two years ago; the bleachers will have 6000 more spaces including VIP.

    X-Air Show 2013

In 2013 the X-Air Show came to Costa Rica with nine aircraft: three monoplanes, three biplanes, two jets and a vintage plane used in World War I. This was the first air show to ever take flight in Costa Rica.

As marketing manager, Renger Infante says: The objective for the company was always to create first world events, granting Costa Ricans first-hand access to extreme sports that previously could only be seen broadcast from other countries. He also says that the economic activation for a zone like Puntarenas is a second objective, because events such as these make a contribution to society.

    2015 and Beyond

According to Renger, RPM TV would like to commit to another show next year, but a lot depends on conditions; every season they have to appraise the situation.

Nevertheless, this year the show is guaranteed to be full of surprises for visitors. Go with your children, your pets, your friends and family; everyone is invited to the weekend’s activities. Don’t forget to buy a “Churchill” or “Vigorón” and enjoy the warmth of the beach while you’re there!
