The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Essential Costa Rica is the name of the brand that will promote the country from now on. It was launched to attract investment, international tourists and worldwide exports. The new country brand was launched on September 3 in the presence of leaders of Foreign Trade, Procomer, ICT and Cinde, who have been developing the brand for five years.
They were supported by global firms which have other country brands in the world. Those three entities are going to use the country brand in Costa Rica´s international promotional events and materials in various industries.
The brand is seen as a marketing tool of perception and positioning of Costa Rica. According to the results of the study carried out to design the brand, Costa Ricans are seen as capable, openminded, peaceful and willing to excel, and Costa Rica is viewed as a unique and open territory, open, with a great location, and it is considered a destination for relaxation.
Also, the country has joined the world to produce and export products and services of high value. The study concludes that the country is green, has an incredible biodiversity and connects to the world through its people. EF
