Costa Rica exports continue to grow: The PROCOMER Export Report (January 2012 to September 2012) which is the number of exported goods from Costa Rica to the world.
The total exports of goods rose by 8.4 percent over the same period last year.
Growth increased for the export of manufactured goods but there was a slowdown of agricultural and industrial exports specifically to Central America.
Accumulating data from January to September 2012 showed the first quarter had very good growth in the major economies. But this situation was reversed in the second quarter and continued into the third quarter mainly because of little improvement in the global economy.
Over all the Costa Rica export growth is continuing even in midst of a slow global economy.
