Julian AssangeThe Costa Rica New (TCRN) – WikiLeaks founder, Australian Julian Assange, described the Brazilian government’s refusal to grant asylum to Snowden as “disappointing” Edward Snowden U.S., said in an interview with the Folha de Sao Paulo.
According to Julian Assange that “shows the reality of the Brazil-US relations, which unfortunately has not done suggests that the position of the president Dilma is weak.”
Documents supposedly delivered by Snowden journalist Glenn Greenwald, a columnist for the British newspaper The Guardian, based in Rio de Janeiro, reveal that entity communications spied Rousseff.
“If you read the WikiLeaks diplomatic cables on Brazil see that under President (former President Luiz Inacio) Lula (da Silva) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was quite independent. Now is a worrying sign for Brazilian independence,” said Assange .
Julian Assange has taken refuge in the Embassy of Ecuador in London to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he will answer charges of sexual crimes.
Snowden is in Russia under a temporary refuge, safe from American justice required to be prosecuted under espionage charges.
