The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The President of Panama, Ricardo Martellini went to Rome last week to receive an acknowledgment that the United Nations Organization for Food and Agriculture (FAO) for Panama’s work in reducing malnutrition.
According to Martinelli, Panama is among the 38 countries that the UN has been certified as “successful” in meeting with specification in the reduction of hunger under the Millennium Development Goals project.

Besides Panama, that have been recognized by FAO are the governments of Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Uruguay, Cuba, Guyana, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Perú.
