The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Over a hundred different tourism businesses will promote the world’s best destinations for Costa Ricans in the second edition of the Traveller’s Expo from March 7 to 9.

“This is the only show in Costa Rica that promotes international travel, which urges Costa Ricans to go abroad and fulfill their dreams to see other countries,” said the director of the expo, Leonel Bonilla.

Destinations like Miami, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France and Asia are some of the markets that will be represented at the fair.

Businesses in attendance include airlines, travel product companies, travel agencies, and banks to provide the public with everything they need to know to travel.

The organizer said the fair is a tool to plan trips properly and optimize resources.

The expo will be held in a hotel in San Jose and is expected to attract around 10,000 Costa Ricans.

Costa Rica, a country of 4.7 million people, registered nearly 775,000 Costa Ricans travelling abroad during 2012, according to the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT). (ACAN-EFE)
