The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The authorities of the Foreign Trade Promoter (Procomer) have everything ready for the sixteenth edition of the Buyers Mission or BTM, to be held from September 23 to 25 and will allow more than 290 national exporters to offer their services to 210 buyers from 35 countries.

In addition, exporters and the public will be able to participate in general talks on the markets of Brazil, Aruba, Curacao and the United States.

These trainings will be conducted by national and international experts and will be held on Tuesday, September 23 from 8:30 am.

Officials of the Directorate of Commercial Intelligence will discuss on topics like diversifying companies, delving into the Brazilian market and analyzing Aruba and Curacao as a destination for the agribusiness sector.

Subsequently, the US-based Logistic Alliance will talk about, “What do supermarket chains seek in the United States?”, which will contain issues related to entry requirements, the product categories with the greatest potential, product study, demographics, competition and market trends, among others.

Alvaro Piedra, head of Trade Promotion PROCOMER, confirmed that in 2013 the fair generated business intentions of $58 million, highlighting the demand for products such as pineapple, meat, beverages, furniture, concentrated orange juice, doors, Teak floors, chayote, veterinary products and snacks.
