The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The organizers of the Paradise Tattoo Convention to be held this Friday at Club Peppers in Zapote confirmed on Facebook that the American tattoo artist, Megan Massacre will not be participating in the event.

Megan Massacre, famous for the New York INK TLC program chain, was scheduled to tattoo this weekend at the third edition of the convention that brings together tattoo artists from around the world.

The same artist announced on her Facebook profile during her stay in Brazil her passport was stolen and that due to immigration issues she will not be able to make it in time for the event.

“To my friends and fans in COSTA RICA, I regret to report that I will not be able to participate in the Paradise Tattoo Convention this weekend. I am currently in Brazil, dealing with my passport and immigration and, unfortunately, there’s no way to be on time for the show. My team and the convention have worked all day on a solution. I really want to go to Costa Rica, so this is just a postponement for the future. I’ll come to see you, I promise “, is part of the video message posted on her facebook profile.

The organizers reiterated that Megan promises to come, “for appointments, photos and autographs, something more personal without an entrance fee.”

The Paradise Tattoo Convention begins Friday and runs through Sunday.
