The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – “My request to all ministers is that I want to see them on the street, with people, not just sitting in their offices.”

This was the message via twitter from President-elect Luis Guillermo Solís to his ministers and CEOs appointed so far.

One of the strategies that led to the presidency was Solis’s tours that were conducted throughout the country, which enabled him to go from being completely unknown to win by over one million votes.

Solis announced on Monday the new leaders of ministries and public institutions and will announce the rest of them at the end of April. Among those to be named includes the President of the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
