The natural flavor of fruit in Yolobon’s dairy-free ice cream without preservatives has arrived already and will soon be available in Vindi and Fresh Market.
The introduction of six flavors- mango-orange, passion fruit green tea, much coconut, coconut-lime, strawberry and organic chocolate organic- will be included.
Since early June, the gelateria offers its products in 14 local Auto Market Greater Metropolitan area, said Susana Quintero, one of the owners.
In addition, the sale is expected to extend to supermarkets Herradura, Playa del Coco and Tamarindo, with the distribution center in Auto Market.
By July, the distribution of the pallets in six Vindi supermarkets will begin, and in August they cover all of the area.
Once they cover the entire secondary supermarket, Quintero hopes to start negotiations to enter the Fresh Market in the same way.
Similarly, Yolobon has 14 independent distributors, including Crystal, Saretto and Proximart.
For the second half of the year, the small business expects to launch two flavors, one of them without sugar.
Artisanal gelateria was born in 2014 and began selling its products in January 2015.
Currently they produce between 12,000 and 15,000 monthly pallets, and they expect to soon expand its production facility located in Escazu.
