The Isla del Coco National Park reported the discovery of a new species of endemic plant in its territory. This means that these are plants native to the island and that they are not found naturally in other areas. In this specific case, it is the species “Stenospermation coques”, from the Araceae family; these are similar to anthuriums or coves.
