The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – On Saturday at 4:00 pm over five thousand athletes will meet in Puntarenas to compete in another edition of Classical Sol y Arena race.
Being one of the most traditional races in Costa Rica, the organization has not neglected any detail and have all the permits so that the success of the event is guaranteed.
The President of the Organizing Committee, Manuel Sossa, said again this race will help the growth of the province of Puntarenas and its charities.
For this edition, the starting point is The China Street which is located about 800 meters from Monsignor Sanabria Hospital, while the finish line is in front of the Paseo de los Turistas, right in the heart of the Pearl of the Pacific.
A total of 10 kilometers on the sand is what athletes will face competing in the 28th edition of this historic race.
The prize for the winner is 350,000 colones, while the second and third 250,000 and 175,000 respectively.
