The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Upon leaving one of the meetings held in New York, United States, Luis Guillermo Solís was approached by a person who asked for his autograph. While Solis signed a baseball, a reporter for the famed entertainment website, TMZ, approached. Solis reacted like a celebrity: naturally but with humility.

The reporter then said, “Mr. President, have you thought about the group D for your football team in the World?”.

    Solis, affable, chuckled.

“What is the chance of Costa Rica? Do you have a good chance?” Said the reporter.

“I hope,” said Solis, later adding, “It will be hard …It’s a tough group but we will do well.”
