The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Evangelist Community Center in Zapote organized a fundraiser to donate hair to make wigs for people with cancer.

The hair that was cut today will be delivered to Ana Ross Foundation, which provides wigs to those in need.

For participants, it was not only a symbolic act, but donors had to cut at least 20 inches of hair.

Stylist students from the Technical University of Guanacaste and local barbers worked without receiving any financial compensation and were more than happy to be part of a good cause and beautify those who arrived. They received a haircut as if they had received the service in a beauty salon.
