New U.S. Ambassador Appointed to Costa Rica

    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – On Tuesday, the White House announced the appointment of a new U.S. ambassador to Costa Rica. Fitzgerald Haney, an international businessman with many years of experience was appointed to office.

    Under U.S. law, this designation will be confirmed after the vote of the Foreign Relations Committee of the U.S. Senate.

    Haney is a graduate in international economics and international business. He has an extensive career in important management positions. He served as Vice President of Products Ethnic International Discount Telecommunications consumption between 2006 and 2007; was Director of Strategic Planning at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation between 2002 and 2006. He has also held board seats for nonprofit and community organizations such as the Foundation of Jewish Culture.
