Navas Makes History as the Second Central American to Join Real Madrid

    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Keylor Navas’s arrival for Real Madrid will be historic because he is only the second Central American to join this important soccer club.

    According to the popular Spanish media, MisterChip, Keylor will be celebrated in the region.

    “Keylor Navas becomes the second Central American player in 112 years in the history of Real Madrid, after the Guatemalan Federico Revuelto,” said MisterChip.

    The national goalkeeper departed yesterday Spain to link up as soon as possible with his new club.

    Navas will be presented next Tuesday at 5:00 am ET in Costa Rica on the Presidential Balcony of the Santiago Bernabeu.
