    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Drug Control Police (PCD) of the Ministry of Public Safety seized three packages with 978 grams of cocaine heading to Canada, Ireland and the Netherlands at the Juan Santamaría International Airport.

    According to the Ministry of Security, the first case occurred when officers looked inside a cardboard box and found 513 grams of cocaine. The drugs were distributed in four black plastic packages hidden within the roles of the four gears of machinery that were destined to Ontario, Canada.

    Other seizures were made by the PCD including 267 grams of cocaine in two clear plastic wrappers, carbon paper black and clear plastic adhered, one weighed 126 grams and 141 grams en route to Dublin, Ireland.

    And the third seizure of 198 grams of cocaine was discovered in a brown bag inside a paper envelope hidden within the pages of a magazine in a plastic bag of a passenger destined for Holland.
