The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – World Cup fever presses on as next Friday begins the long-awaited quarterfinals where Costa Rica will be present to proudly represent their country.
After two days without football, next Friday kickoff the determination of the last four guests to remain in the fight for the World Cup.
America and Europe will compete for the World
Four teams in the American continent and four from the European continent are left with dreams of claiming the trophy at the Maracana Stadium.
The remaining teams are: Brazil vs Colombia, France vs Germany, Netherlands vs. Argentina and Costa Rica vs Belgium.
Costa Rica to continue making history
The tricolor will play on Saturday in the Arena Fonte Nova.
Few were confident that they would thrive in the dreaded group of death, but Costa Rica has proven itself as it goes on in the quarter finals to face the Netherlands team.
The match against the renewed “Clockwork Orange” team, will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm
