“Throughout the past year, eBay has started to build its presence in Latin America, partnering with PayPal in a variety of efforts, and realizing what is most important to buyers in the region,” said Wendy Jones, vice president of expansion Global cross-border trade and eBay in a statement.

The launch of eBay in Latin America represents an ongoing commitment to connect buyers in Central and South America to the things they need and love, and to offer choice, value and experience that consumers expect, the company concludes.
