The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The e-commerce company eBay has announced the launch of their new version of in Spanish and Portuguese intended to better serve customers throughout Latin America.

The company said in a statement that from now on the more than 2 million people in Latin America who visit eBay can “search, browse and experience a world of choice and great value for the items they need in their favorite language and in their local currencies.”

“Throughout the past year, eBay has started to build its presence in Latin America, partnering with PayPal in a variety of efforts, and realizing what is most important to buyers in the region,” said Wendy Jones, vice president of expansion Global cross-border trade and eBay in a statement.

The launch of eBay in Latin America represents an ongoing commitment to connect buyers in Central and South America to the things they need and love, and to offer choice, value and experience that consumers expect, the company concludes.

With 128 million active users worldwide, eBay is one of the largest online markets in the world, where practically anyone can buy and sell anything.
