The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Road Safety Council (Cosevi) and Banco de Costa Rica (BCR) are analyzing an option to extend services for the issue and renewal of licenses, through the platforms of the financial institution, in order to overcome the delays by Cosevi.
Carlos Rivas, Cosevi legal adviser, said cooperation between the institutions is almost certain and estimated in three months they will be able to provide this service to Costa Ricans.
With this option, interested parties may receive their license close to home, choosing to keep the current picture to obtain the renewal of driving license, among other possibilities.
Rivas added that at the headquarters of Cosevi, 400 licenses are processed daily, which in a month represents about 8,000 licenses.
