The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Secretary General of the Costa Rican Football Federation (Fedefútbol), Rafael Vargas, said tickets for the next round of the World Cup are already reserved and ticket availability will be unknown until June 25.
“Those who reserved their entry in December and are safe. But those who did not have to wait and then enter their information on the FIFA website to see if they are lucky and get a ticket,” Vargas said.
It is estimated that just over 5,000 Tico fans are looking to go to the next game.
Other supporters of the 32 teams booked tickets for the knockout stages but not all of them will be used and that’s where the opportunity arises to acquire tickets.
“Fans will have to wait until the 25th to see which teams in Group D are eliminated to see if their fans demand the money back and there are free tickets,” added Vargas.
Depending on the position in the group selection will play either Saturday or Sunday at 2:00 pm.
