The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Route of the Conquerors stands out between seven cycle routes classified as ” most incredible” in a report by CNN. Indeed, it places the Costa Rican route on the podium, just below the Friendship Highway, which takes place in China.

The route is 270 kilometers long, to be held in November and rubs shoulders with European and Asian competitions.

From the Pacific Coast to the Costa Rican Caribbean, the report highlights that the path includes muddy trails, forests, coffee plantations, and even an extinct volcano, following the route of the sixteenth century Spanish conquistador, Juan de Cavallón and Arboleda.

The course can be completed in three days every November as part of the annual mountain biking competition.

    The other six

The 800 kilometers from the Friendship Highway in China, including the Tibetan city of Lhasa and the Nepali border, is called the most beautiful ride in the world.

It includes three steps of over 5,000 meters, with a maximum of 5220 meters that make the participant feel “the lungs will burst on the passage of the mountain Gyatso, where the reward on a clear day is a distant view of Everest” indicates the news network.

In third place, the Northern Cycle Sea Route is placed, which runs through eight countries in Europe, and is the longest in the world.

Covering nearly 6,000 miles, extending from the northern tip of Scotland Shetland Islands along the coast of Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The Shimanami Kaido, practiced in Japan, ranked fourth. It can be done in one day as it is only little more than 64 miles long, completely separated from the main road, which winds through a series of small islands in Hiroshima Prefecture to the west of the country.

Some people complete the journey in a day, but many are entertained to watch the beautiful views along the Seto Inland Sea.

The second American trail that is listed is the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, which passes through North America. It is a dirt road going from Alberta, Canada, down to New Mexico.

During the tour, riders can see everything from grizzly bears to cougars to eagles.

Australia is also on the list, with Biddi Munda Trail which translates to a “path through the forest” in the local indigenous language-it extends near the state capital, Perth, to Albany in the far southwest.

In the seventh position is The South Downs Way, which takes place in England. It is a route of 160 kilometers through some of the most lush and rolling English countryside.
