The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Costa Rican Mauren Solano managed to win the Ironman 70.3 in the Virgin Islands for the female category and incidentally won a spot for the World Ironman Triathlon in October this year in Kona, Hawaii.

In that competition she had to complete a 1,600 meter swim, 60 kilometer bike ride, ending with a 16 kilometer run. Finally she closed the competition with a time of 3:29:05.

From now on, the workouts will intensify since testing internationally represents an even more demanding competition and where she will compete against the best in the world while representing Costa Rica.
