    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Costa Rican sex workers approached the Ministry of Labor today requesting more awareness in health, eliminating the stigma and discrimination associated with prostitution, and to repeal laws that make prostitution a crime.

    Kilia Lopez, one of the protesters, held a banner that said: “Sex work is work”.

    She hopes that other companions will soon come and join in their movement.

    They are currently in talks with three representatives of from the Ministry of Labor, and Deputy Minister, Harold Villegas.
