The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – Police Drug Enforcement Costa Rica announced that they found 76 kilos of cocaine hidden in buckets of fat on a boat that arrived in Port Limón (Caribbean) from Puerto Turbo, Colombia.
The Security Ministry said in a statement that the grease trays were placed in the engine room of the cargo ship, which is owned by “a multinational company that transports bananas”, whose name was not disclosed.
The incident occurred in Limón, but apparently was destined for Europe.
In the buckets of fat, drug agents found 76 packages of cocaine, one kilo each, which were wrapped in adhesive plastic. (ACAN-EFE)
