    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – In about two months the service improvements of Gynecology and Obstetrics Max Peralta Hospital in Cartago will finish, whose investment is around ¢223 million.

    The work is designed to provide more comfortable and functional spaces, while maximizing the area available and adding elements to provide quality surroundings such as ventilation, lighting, floors, new furniture, signage and full access according to the 7600 Act, among others.

    Changes include a postpartum room, a work room, two meeting rooms, a recovery room, a new operating room, hallways and restrooms.

    The area that was remodeled 266 square meters and is run by a company contracted for this purpose.

    Upon completion of the work, the remodeling of two health services areas in for medicine and surgery will begin.

    It is expected that for 2014 the hospital will invest about ¢400 million in civil works, all with the aim to improvement its infrastructure said José Mauricio Rosas, Financial Administrative Director.
