The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Fire Department confirmed that there was a call received by emergency services regarding a child locked in a vehicle when the automatic lock of the auto failed, causing the girl, about three years remain trapped inside the car.
The incident occurred in an apartment building located in Rohrmoser. According to an official of the Fire Department, the girl was locked after the driver of the vehicle parked it and rushed to enter the house. After several minutes trying to rescue her, the outcome was positive.
“The central lock is activated quickly, making it impossible to get her. We came, we did the rescue and she was treated by paramedics and is in stable condition,” said the representative.
Alert Fire Rescue units along with security forces arrived at the scene after the call was received at about 1:30 pm. It was reported that the child had good health, despite the temperature inside the vehicle.
