The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – All those women leaders and entrepreneurs who have excelled have until the 5th of September 2014 to be nominated to receive the Alborada Award, presented by the Chamber of Commerce of Costa Rica.
According to Marilyn Batista Márquez, president of the Program for the Development of Women Entrepreneurs, “This initiative seeks to recognize the efforts of women struggling to own a business and have succeeded as well as those who through their work are examples of leadership and overcome to reach your goals.”
The ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 2 at the Crowne Plaza hotel Corobicí and will be attended by representatives of both sectors.
Symbolically, the Alborada Awards represent a new dawn, a new hope for women, who from the first moment of the day begins working hours according to their family, and plays professionally in a society that expects to recognize their ability and leadership, without any gender discrimination.
Companies interested in applying have until Friday, September 5 to submit attestations of its owner, president or manager at the following address: The Village Mall, 150 meters northwest / Diagonal Advertising Garnier – Neighborhood Tounón.
The Award consists of a sculpture by Arturo Santana with the female silhouette, to represent that in order to compete professionally in society, women do not have to put aside their femininity that characterizes them.
