Costa Rica Authorities Seized 41 Kilos of Cocaine from Colombian BoatThe Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The Costa Rican drug authorities today seized 41 kilos of cocaine inside a boat from Colombia and docked in Puerto Moin in the province of Limón (Caribbean).

The Costa Rican Security Ministry said in a statement that after an anonymous call, police officers Drug Control (PCD) found cocaine in two suitcases located in a room of the ship.

The ship was named “Felucos” and belonged to the company Naviera Antennas, whose country of residence was not specified by the authorities, which was docked at Puerto Moin since Sunday.

Costa Rican authorities have not arrested any suspects in this case, although research continues.

So far this year, the PCD has seized nearly 1.5 tons of cocaine, mostly from speedboats intercepted in the Pacific Ocean. (ACAN-EFE)
