    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The company Avianca (formerly Grupo Taca) announced it increased its number of seats for Central America by 33% compared to the same period in the previous year.

    During Holy Week, they offer 16,444 seats available for travel originating at the Juan Santamaria International Airport.

    Among the favorite destinations for Costa Ricans: Panama, Guatemala, Cancun, Orlando, Miami, and Havana.

    In order to meet the demand of groups to more specific destinations, Avianca has 8 charter flights from the cities of San Salvador, San Pedro Sula and Guatemala bound for Cancun; plus a flight from San Jose to Mexico City DF and three flights to San Andres Island

    Claudia Arenas, International Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs Avianca, stressed that during this holiday season, they want the Central American traveler and their families to enjoy a comfortable experience and complication free flight.
