The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – A Tica will be responsible for keeping the pulse of Apple Watch, one of the most recent launches of Apple.

It is Costa Rican Marcela Aguilar, who is only 35 years old but adds a vast experience in the world of fashion, marketing and communication. The information was confirmed by Ad Age, specializing in topics of Advertising and Marketing publication.

Aguilar has worked since 2011 as a global director of marketing and communication for in the chain Gap and this year she will accept the new title of Director of Global Marketing Communication for Apple, with the great responsibility of marketing the Apple Watch to the world.

Aguilar is veneered for her work with Gap, with marketing publications saying she is responsible for re-launching a successful global Gap brand.

Before joining Gap, Aguilar worked as a receptionist at a local advertising agency. She then spent seven years working for companies BBDO and Rapp Collins in Costa Rica.

She studied at the American University and earned a degree from Northwestern University, Illinois.
