A 5.6 Earthquake Rocks Limon, Heredia, and Cartago

    The Costa Rica News (TCRN) – The National Volcanological and Seismological Observatory (Ovsicori) noted that a 5.6 magnitude earthquake occurred 250 kilometers northeast of Limon, near the islands of San Andrés, shaking several areas.

    According to the Ovsicori, the earthquake was reported as being felt in Heredia, Cartago and Limón, at 7:26 am. No damage has been reported so far.
