    Plane disappears after departing Pavas to Punta Islita Guanacaste

    Search operation are underway for a small plane with no passengers disappeared today at approximately 6:30 am during a flight from Tobias Bolanos Airport in Pavas, to Punta Islita in Guanacaste.

    The Civil Aviation authority said the aircraft was piloted by Paul Salmeron, a licensed commercial pilot. Adding the last radar contact had been at 6:30 am when the plane was near Puntarenas. The plane apparently entered a fog bank, before disappearing from the radar.
