Data from the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) indicate that Americans and Europeans are the most visited by Costa Rica.

Such is the case of Victoria’s Secret models. The women’s lingerie store posted images of the well-known models Candice Susan Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo Levine in their Instagram account. In addition, they used #PuraVida.
“The presence of celebrities in our country is an example of how Costa Rica has become a destination highly desired by the diversity of activities it offers and sites that can be visited in a short time of stay,” said Alejandro Castro, director of Marketing of ICT.
On the other hand, the Romanian singer Inna recorded her latest music video on Guanacaste beaches. The title of the song is ” Rendez-Vous ”, and highlights the natural beauties and rural areas.
In fact, about two and a half years ago the composer came to the country to record ” Cola Song ”, another hit that enchants more than one.
Castro comments: “The fact that movie stars, music, and world sport choose our country as an option to spend their vacations, makes it an aspirational destination for visitors, who learn that a celebrity enjoys the Costa Rican landscapes, they will want to live the same experience.
The presence of figures recognized worldwide causes an automatic and multiplier effect of promotion. ”
Only in 2013, more than 15 renowned artists visited Costa Rica, among them Miley Cyrus, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Matt Damon, among others.
On the other hand, The Kardashians clan visited the northwest of the country at the beginning of the year, to enjoy their family vacation and film an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians.
The whole family, with relatively little security, got out of several Ford vans on a field near Papagayo Bay and quickly got on the helicopters. From that moment, several members of the family shared images of their trip in social networks like Snapchat and Instagram.
